vsphere web client issue : Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server systems: https://SERVER.DOMAIN:443/sdk

Hi,

We are facing a problem with our vcenter after a restart yesterday. We are running vmware vcenter appliance 5.5 (Linux SUSE). No update was made. The appliance has been running for over a year. however, now it shows error:

Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server systems:

https://SERVER.DOMAIN:443/sdk

in the web client. Please see attached screen shot. It does not shows any hosts, clusters, datastores, ...etc anymore. They all shows "0".

All services seem to be running as shown in the appliance configuration page (see attached screen shot) and when we check them in ssh session with command:

service --status-all

Looking at tail/var/log/vmware/vpx/vpxd.log it shows the following:

Could anyone please advise on how to tackle this issue and get vsphere web client functional ?

Appreciated
