Hi all,
I have a problem that I can't solve. Here it is:
ESXi 5.5u3 for HP has been installed on a HP Proliant DL380 G9 (on a SD CARD). Everything went fine, except this:
The health status of Vsphere client returns an alert on the memory sensor but both the iLO and HP Insight Diagnostics reports that everything works fine. We got 80 GB of RAM (4x16 & 2x8). Every dimm is correctly populated and no error appears in the event log.
At the moment, this is what we tried:
- Reset services
- Reboot (We never know..)
- Re-install SPP (2015.10)
- Clean logs
- Reset sensors
- Upgrading to 6.0 U1 (VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-Update1-3380124-HPE-600.9.4.5.11-Jan2016)
- Full Install 6.0 U1
The alert is still in the vSphere Health status.
Should we think this is a hardware problem ? We saw that another sensor "Battery on HPSA1" is in "unknow" status on a lots of our Proliant 380 G9.
Any idea ?
