Hi all,

I am hoping some one can help me here.

I have a Dell laptop using Windows 7 OS where I have installed VMplayer.

On the VMplayer, I want to install an ESXI 5.x as a separate Virtual machine.

During half way of the isntallation, I am getting the erro No network adapter found..

I have found articles that says that ESXi ISO image do not support some adapters esp for Dell laptops.

I have an Intel(R) 82577LM GigNIC for LAN and for

Wirelss : Intel(R) Centrino(R) Ultimate -N6300AGN -- this is what I ma using to get to the internet.

I have tried customizing the ISO image using the below link :

http://blog.kihltech.com/2014/01/how-to-add-intel-nic-drivers-to-an-esxi-5-5-iso/

I am not sure which driver (.vib file) i need to use for my purpose, I have tried with all the 3 below  with no luck in getting the ESXi working..

Intel Driver (net-e1001e-1.0.0.x86_64.vib) (3rd Gen NUC)

Intel Driver (net-e1000e-2.3.2.x86_64.vib) (4th Gen NUC)

- SATA Controller (sata-xahci-1.27-1.x86_64.vib) (4th Gen NUC) from v-front.de

Can anyone please help me..

Thanks

Jessi
