HOST:
Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Intel Core i7 9700K
64GB DDR4
240GB SSD + 2TB HDD
VM:
Windows 7 Home 64bit
4 Cores of the Intel Core i7
2GB RAM
30GB dedicated on the 2TB HDD
I've been running this machine as a test for a couple months and all of a sudden I get back from a weekend and I'm met with a very quick error that doesn't stay on the screen for longer than about 4 seconds. I've managed to snap a picture of it on my phone and read where the log file is located, so I've included that log file here.
The data in the VM isn't important, it's just a test but I'd rather not have to create a new VM, install Windows and go through the process of installing the few programs I have in there if I don't have to - I'd rather learn what the error is and how to fix it.
I've read about this error in my spare time over the last few days and followed the instructions given to another user with this error to copy the VM over to another location and tried to open it with VMware Player but it doesn't work. I've also tried to open VMware Player with "Run as Admin" privileges but still won't work.
I've double-checked that Intel vt-d is enabled in BIOS.
Not sure what else I can try, so I'm turning to you guys for help.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
