Hi,
We have had ESXi 6.5 server host with 2 Windows VMs running for 9 months. The entire system runs on a single Dell T630 with a local PERC H730 storage adapter.
For some reason (someone poking around) our VMs are Off and Datastore has disappeared.
Using vSphere Client I can see a Wellsburg ACHI adapter under storage adapters and a Avago (LSI) Dell PERC H730 Adapter under advanced settings. I can also see two VMFS\volumes in inventory, Powered Off. Power On os not a choice.
When I attempt to "create a new datastore" there is no disk/LUN to select?
Using ESXCLI shell lspci -vvv command I see the adpaters as follows:
0000:00:11.4 SATA controller Mass storage controller: Intel Corporation Wellsburg AHCI Controller [vmhba0]
Class 0106: 8086:8d62
0000:03:00.0 RAID bus controller Mass storage controller: Avago (LSI) Dell PERC H730 Adapter [vmhba2]
Class 0104: 1000:005d
Using "esxcli storage core device list" I do not see the storeage adapters?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
